Gustav Nilsonne

MD, PhD, researcher in cognitive neuroscience at Stockholm University

“My current work is in the field of cognitive neuroscience, with a focus on emotion regulation and decision making in the brain. In 2010 and 2011, I have worked as a postdoc with Martin Ingvar and Predrag Petrovic on empathy. My main methodological platforms are psychophysiological methods and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).”

Gustav Nilsonne earned his MD in 2009 from the Karolinska Institutet. Later in the same year, he defended his PhD thesis in experimental pathology.
