“My research interest is focused on Nano cellulose, a rapidly growing area which is becoming introduced commercially. I am also interested in Bio composites, Nano composite films, foams, aerogels and inorganic hybrids.”
Lars Berglund, guest in “Green innovation: the forest as a resource for a better future”, is director of Wallenberg Wood Science Center and professor of Wood and Wood Composites at KTH. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
Wallenberg Wood Science Center is a research center with a focus on new materials from trees. The mission is to create knowledge and build competence that can form the basis for an innovative future value creation from forest raw material. The base is a donation from Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
