Mats Leksell is a Senior Research Engineer at Electrical Energy Conversion department at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He holds a Licentiate of Technology degree and is working as a researcher and teacher. His main research focuses are electrical machines, electrical drives, hybrid vehicles and electrical road systems. Mats Leksell is teaching courses in Electrical Machines and Drives, Hybrid Vehicel Drives and The Sustainable Electrical Power Engineer.
In recent years, Mats Leksell has focused on hybrid vehicle drives, including converters, energy storage and power supply. He has a large network with both vehicle and power system industry and is also a member of IEEE, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
