Mats KG Johanssons research is focused on thermoset polymers for thin film applications, e.g. organic coatings, resin synthesis, and monomers from renewable resources. The correlation between monomer structure and processing conditions (radiation, air drying, or thermally induced polymerization) on the final thermoset properties. Resin structures based on hyper branched polymers is another area of interest.
