“Crosstalks is an effective program that successfully reaches high potentials. However, its effects are synergetic. It is also a great example of how to bridge the gap between academics and society in general.” – Dr. Paul E. Ketelaar, Department of Communication/Behavioural Science Institute, Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Member of the jury for the Digital Communication Awards 2013.

“Fantastic, professional, fun and inspiring! A great thanks to you! I will continue watching Crosstalks and spread the word!” Nina Kirchner, Senior Lecturer in Numerical Ice Sheet Modeling at the Department of Physical Geography at Stockholm University. Participant in “Into the deep – the unknown territories and resources of the sea”.

”Professional, fun and inspiring! I am grateful that I got the chance to participate!”, Jakob Kuttenkeuler, Professor at the Centre of Naval Architecture at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Participant in “Into the deep – the unknown territories and resources of the sea”.

“Serious, well organized and with an experience far beyond expectation! Programs like this freely accessible on the Internet might be more important than we think!” Laura Álvarez López, Associate Professor in Portuguese at the Department of Romance Studies and Classics at Stockholm University and participant in “Out there – the importance and challenges of field research”.

Crosstalks – Where great minds meet!

Crosstalks is an international academic forum broadcast in a talk show. The programme gathers the brightest minds to share their knowledge and insights on the basis of world leading research. The tone of the programme is relaxed, with a twinkle in its eye: just like a good, engaging lecture.

Crosstalks is a platform for discussions on global challenges in an open and on-going dialogue with viewers around the world.

Crosstalks is broadcast live from two of Swedens top universities – KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University – at www.crosstalks.tv once a month. Each broadcast is aproximately 50 minutes, dealing with a specific current global research subject, each with three participants in the studio and additional participants online via Skype.
