Virtual real life situations engage students to learn

March 11, 2015
"What engages me is trying to find new ways to engage learners by virtual reality situations and cases. My virtual humans can react emotionally, they can be happy, they can be sad. THey can even get upset and walk out of the room if you don't behave professionally when trying to solve their problem. And by that they engage and motivate the students i train to learn more, to train more, to want to do more." Uno Fors Professor in IT and Learning at The Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV) at Stockholm University.

Uno Fors is guest in Crosstalks on #education and #teaching "Get smart: life long learning and relearning" released March 19, at 6 PM CET. All talks are available at www.crosstalks.tv.
