Jenny Hjalmarsson has been an industry-employed doctoral student employed at Micasa Fastigheter. She is licensed physiotherapist from Karolinska Institutet since 1995 and since 2013 is Hjalmarsson researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Her research field at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is ergonomics in the home environment with a focus on housing design for the elderly. The research is mainly concentrated in bathroom design and projects for people older than 75 and their housing situation from an ergonomic perspective.
